| At the beginning of the 20th century Las Vegas blossomed from a railway station into a railway-town. Alongside the Fremont street hotels and warehouses mushroomed up. Here, travellers were feeded with water, entertainment and alcohol. On the legendary Las Vegas shows oftenly appeared renowned artists - for example the members of the Rat Pack, Sarah Vaughan, Billy Eckstine and Louis Armstrong. |
